Are You Focused on What Isn’t Working?
One day a while ago, I was actually smart enough to stop focusing on what wasn’t happening for me and my art.
Instead, I started focusing on what I wanted to have happen.
I began taking the steps to getting there. My entire life began to change.
One day not too long after, I realized that I was feeling a lot happier.
I saw, too, that I was actually contributing to the knowledge about stone sculpture in general, even in Hawaii (where I lived at the time), where there aren’t too many stone sculptors.
That meant a lot to me.
I saw that more people were aware of my work than I had known.
I made more sales. I like being happier, and I like making sales.
Here’s the deal: you can gripe all day long about the state of things, but it won’t improve one whit of it.
But when you decide to look at what you do want, and start taking action, things change dramatically.
Yes, it can certainly seem like an uphill battle, but at least it’s more fun than sitting around stewing and bitching and moaning about what ain’t.
