What’s Your Favorite Social Media Venue?
I changed my thinking about marketing being a ‘bad’ thing!
Now, it’s just a way to serve people.
I began to create ways to send my work into the world without having to be there in person or take a lot of time at it.
• I post on FB a lot.
• I write articles on medium.com, Substack, Quora and other publications.
• I send images of my art to people I know and ask if they know any collectors.
• I even got one of those car-door magnet things with a picture of one of my sculptures, along with my name and website address.
• I teach all kinds of courses – art-making, how to write and publish books, how to get on popular podcasts, how to be great as a podcast guest, how to transform your unwanted and destructive fears and beliefs, and on marketing.
How do I do all those things? A bite at a time.
I take about half an hour in the morning to write a little something, make a video, post some pix.
That’s not too much time for a possible sale of thousands!
3 ideas you can use right this second:
• Make a post or a tiktok or FB reel about how much you love the results you get for people!
• Post short case stories that are unusual or moving in some way.
• Post pictures of happy customers (with their permission, of course!).
